bouteille de cidre de La reinette verte fond fût

The Verger de la Reinette began in the late 1990s and officially opened in 2009. Today, it brings together 4 partners and 2 full-time employees.

Located in Préaux-du-Perche, in the Orne region, the orchard covers about 15 hectares with both tall and short-stem apple trees. It produces apples for juice and cider, as well as table apples and pears.

From the start, the orchard has followed organic farming practices. The fruits (apples, pears, quinces) are processed and blended on-site, with no additives or preservatives.

JEAN-FRANÇOIS LEROUX Domaine du Ruisseau

Jean-François Leroux began selling his first bottles of cider in 1996. In 1998, he was one of the founding members of the Perche Cider Syndicate, which has worked ever since to achieve AOC/AOP recognition for Perche ciders. His ciders, often awarded medals, are made according to organic farming principles.

Jean-François Leroux and his wife Muriel work exclusively with local cider apple varieties, which he knows extremely well. Most of their apples come from traditional high-stem orchards.

MATTHIEU LACOUR VEYRANNE Cidres Matthieu Lacour-Veyranne

In the heart of the Perche Natural Park, in a former cider farm, Matthieu Lacour-Veyranne and Guillaume Relier work to combine terroir, landscape, and modernity in their ciders.

They are restoring the Perche orchards, relying on ancient and traditional apple varieties typical of the region, which they carefully hand-pick. After the apples have matured, they are taken from the orchard using animal traction, with the help of Percheron horses.

The production methods in the cellar follow natural processes, under their precise and rigorous supervision. In the end, the bubbles in the bottle are naturally formed  a testament to their desire to maximize the aromatic potential of the organic and AOP Perche ciders they produce.

The full range is available on request or during visits to the cidery, offering them the opportunity to share their commitment, craftsmanship, and the high standards they bring to their ciders.

EMMANUELLE ET JEANNE DEBATS La Cidreraie

Located in Verrières, La Cidreraie is one of the youngest cideries within the AOP. In 2022, Emmanuelle Debats and her daughter Jeanne decided to create a cidery together and plant an orchard of 200 tall-stem apple trees, using ancient varieties from the Perche region.

They hand-pick their apples from untreated orchards. The apples are stored in a barn before pressing, which helps promote their maturation.

We love discovering and experimenting with the different aromas of Perche apples.
